Non-profit Corporations

Non-profit corporations, although business entities fitting into General Business Law category, are distinct and unique from for profit business entities because of their non-profit status under both California and Federal law. Often, non-profit organizations are volunteer based organizations that would not exist without the skill and talent and commitment of its volunteers. Because of this and because of the unique nature of non-profit businesses, advising these types of businesses in their operations requires a special technical legal skill.
